For a number of years now photography has been hobby and passion of mine. But it has always been just that a hobby. I bought my first DSLR (Canon 550d) a couple of years back with my tax return and everything I know has been self taught. My skills and knowledge come from: reading online tutorials, magazines/books, the instruction booklet a few times, and most important of all; taking lots of photos.
My interest and commitment has wavered a few times but right now I love photography more then ever. I have been looking at photography courses for some time now, and finally I have found one that I can squeeze into my busy work schedule (and budget). Starting on the 18/06 I will start my two year, part time course of a Diploma in photo-imaging. Fingers crossed this takes me in a new direction in life. I couldn't think of anything I'd rather do in life than be a photographer. Below are the photos I submitted to get accepted into the course.

I was lucky enough to get an AAA pass to The Scarecrows single launch at the HiFi in Melbourne. Would have to be my most memorable photography experience to date. |

One of my favourite photos from the single launch. |

Taken at the Mt Buller terrain park. Good day for photos, bad day for my knee. |

I've done a number of games for the La Trobe Hockey team. Here's one of my favourite pictures from their games. |

I was lucky enough to have this mustang drive by while I was practicing my panning shots. I love how this photo turned out. |
